Scheduled Mobile EV Charging

No charger where you live or park? Book a charge ahead of time and we bring it to your driveway, office lot or parking structure.

Scheduled mobile EV charging is for drivers who do not have reliable charging where the car sleeps. Renters, condo owners, people in older buildings and anyone whose workplace has a waiting list for a single plug know the routine: hunting for a working public charger, waiting in a queue, then sitting with the car for half an hour. A booked mobile charge brings the energy to the parking space instead.

It is also a practical bridge for new EV owners waiting for a home charger installation, and for anyone whose commute pattern occasionally needs more range than an overnight trickle from a standard outlet can provide.

How it works
  1. 01

    Book a window

Request a date and time window online or by phone. Tell us where the car will be parked and how to access it.

  2. 02

    We confirm details

Dispatch confirms price, access instructions and whether you need to be present.

  3. 03

    Charge delivered

The technician arrives in the window, charges the car and leaves it as found.

Who scheduled charging helps

  • Apartment and condo residents without an assigned charger or permission to install one.
  • New EV owners waiting weeks for an electrician or utility upgrade.
  • Drivers whose only home option is a standard household outlet that cannot keep up with their commute.
  • People with mobility limitations who find public charging stations difficult to use.
  • Visitors and temporary residents staying somewhere without charging.

Where we can charge

Most scheduled sessions happen in driveways, open lots and parking structures. Garages need enough clearance for our vehicle or a safe route for cables, and some private structures restrict service vehicles, so we ask about height limits and access codes when you book. If the building management needs to approve a vendor visit, we can provide our details in writing for them to review.

We do not run cables across sidewalks or public walkways in a way that creates a trip hazard, and we will not charge in locations where the car is parked illegally or in a fire lane. If your usual spot is not workable, we will suggest an alternative nearby.

How much range to plan for

A single scheduled session is sized to add meaningful range rather than to fill the battery. Exactly how much depends on your car's charging behavior, battery temperature and the session length we agree on. Tell us your typical weekly mileage and we will help you choose a frequency that keeps you out of the low-battery zone without paying for more visits than you need.

If your goal is to avoid emergencies entirely, a pattern of one or two scheduled visits a week combined with occasional public charging works for many commuters. Drivers covering long distances daily may find a home charger installation, where possible, is the better long-term answer, and we will tell you so.

Do you need to be there?

Not always. On many cars the charge port can be left accessible or opened remotely through the manufacturer's app, and we only need access to the port, not the keys or cabin. Some vehicles lock the charge port while locked, in which case we coordinate a time when you can open it. We send a message when the technician is on the way and when the session ends.

Scheduled versus emergency charging

Emergency charging is reactive and priced per rescue. Scheduled charging is planned, booked into a window, and better suited to repeat visits. If you find yourself calling for emergency charges more than once, switching to scheduled visits usually costs less stress and fewer surprises.

Preparing for a scheduled visit

  • Park where our vehicle can reach the charge port side of your car, ideally with a few feet of clearance.
  • Send gate codes, parking level and stall number when you book, and tell us about height limits in garages.
  • If your car locks the charge port while locked, enable remote port opening in the app or plan to be present.
  • Leave the charge limit high enough to accept the energy we deliver; a low limit will stop the session early.
  • Tell us if the car will be needed before the window ends so we can prioritize timing.

If anything changes, such as the car being moved or the building restricting access that day, call dispatch so we can reschedule rather than arrive to an empty space.

What it costs

Scheduled charging is priced by session length, location and frequency, so we quote it directly. Call for pricing or request a quote through the booking form. Our emergency charge price of $175 for 25 to 50 miles of range is a useful reference point, but scheduled visits are planned differently.

Businesses with several vehicles should use our fleet quote instead.
