EV6, EV9, Niro EV
Mobile charging for Kia
Out of charge in a Kia? We bring the charge to you. EV6 and EV9 offer vehicle-to-load on many trims; that feature is not a way to charge another EV in an emergency.
Connector
EV6 and EV9 vehicles from earlier model years use CCS1. Kia has been moving US models to the J3400 (NACS) inlet starting with refreshed versions, so model year matters.
Charge port
EV6 and EV9 locate the port on the passenger-side rear. Niro EV has its port at the front of the car.
Charging behavior
EV6 and EV9 share Hyundai's 800-volt platform, charging fastest on high-voltage stations and more gradually on 400-volt equipment.
Why Kia drivers call us
- Three-row EV9 trips with a full load of passengers and luggage
- Winter driving with cabin heat running continuously
- Auxiliary battery drain
Connector and port details vary by model year and market. Your owner’s manual is the final word.
