Mobile charging for Chevrolet

Out of charge in a Chevrolet? We bring the charge to you. Bolt owners with recall-related charge limits should mention them when calling.

Connector

Bolt, Equinox EV, Blazer EV and Silverado EV use CCS1. GM has announced J3400 (NACS) adoption on future models and supports adapters for current owners at compatible stations.

Charge port

Bolt EV and Bolt EUV have the port on the driver-side front fender. Equinox EV, Blazer EV and Silverado EV also place it toward the front driver side; confirm for your trim.

Charging behavior

The original Bolt models accept a relatively modest maximum DC rate, so a fast-charge stop takes longer than on newer Ultium-based vehicles.

Why Chevrolet drivers call us
  • Slower DC charging on older Bolt models leading drivers to skip stops
  • Highway speeds in cold weather
  • 12V failure after the car sits

Connector and port details vary by model year and market. Your owner’s manual is the final word.
