Mobile charging for BMW

Out of charge in a BMW? We bring the charge to you. Older i3 models have a smaller DC charging rate; plan for a longer stop after our visit.

Connector

Current BMW EVs sold in the US use CCS1. BMW has announced J3400 (NACS) adoption for future models.

Charge port

i4, i5, i7 and iX place the port on the passenger-side rear quarter. The discontinued i3 has its port on the rear passenger-side quarter as well.

Charging behavior

BMW EVs typically precondition the battery when navigating to a fast charger in the built-in navigation, which shortens charging time in cold weather.

Why BMW drivers call us
  • Range extender (REx) i3 owners running both fuel and battery low
  • Highway driving at sustained high speeds
  • 12V battery issues that disable entry or startup

Connector and port details vary by model year and market. Your owner’s manual is the final word.
